I have just completed the best Mother's Day ever! It started off...
on Saturday with a treetop adventure. My family and I actually geared up in safety
equipment and went on a self-guided tree canopy tour. There were some scary
moments but we all made it through safely. It was absolutely breath taking. Then
we went to a chocolate shop where I picked out all the chocolates I wanted.
Phenomenal!. We ended the day with a delicious meal on an outdoor patio
with live music.
Then on Sunday morning, I was greeted with a fruit bouqet before we all went
to church. Afterwards, we had another meal (brunch) out on a different patio.
The rain was lightly drizzling and I thought it was perfect because I love the
melancholy feel of a rainy day. We came home and I polished off the rest of
my chocolates and then passed out undisturbed for a long time.
Adventure, great food, chocolate, surprise, a rainy day, restful peace, and
my amazing family; like I said, the best Mother's Day ever!
